Edie Henthorne, LISW was born and raised in Akron, OH area. She has lived and worked all of her life in Northeastern Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Business Administration from Ashland University in 2015. She received her Master of Science in Social Administration (MSSA) degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2018. She worked in substance abuse and community mental health settings in Richland County, Cuyahoga County, and Lorain County. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, she has been providing Telehealth services to individuals across Ohio. She is currently working at The Emily Program, clinic for eating disorders, providing therapeutic services. She has enjoyed being able to provide virtual individual therapy services to adults across Ohio and serve those with mental health disorders, eating disorders, and substance use disorders.

She will send you an email with an invitation to Simple Practice - Client Portal (secure website), which will prompt you to complete and review intake paperwork, consent forms, policies, mental health screenings, etc. It is expected that all information asked in the portal be completed before initial appointment begins.
